Warmsprings Drive fire rekindles, destroys remainder of house
A fire that heavily damaged a home in the Ponderosa neighborhood Wednesday rekindled Thursday morning and destroyed the remains, the Fayetteville Fire Department said.The initial fire at 489 Warmsprings Drive was reported at 4:30 p.m. and damaged about 50 percent of the single-story home off Santa Fe Drive.Firefighters were called back about 3:45 a.m. by a neighbor who saw fire coming from the damaged structure, a news release said.
