Taliban take district center in western Afghan province
LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan (Reuters) – Taliban fighters have captured a district center in Afghanistan’s western province of Farah bordering Iran, where they have battled government security forces fiercely in recent months, officials said on Monday.
