Sanford Health & Rehab worker charged after patient suffers broken femur
SANFORD – An employee of the Sanford Health and Rehabilitation Facility is facing charges after a patient there was found to have a broken femur, according to a release from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.Aderonke Oloruntoba, 24, of the 400 block of Ryan Avenue in Sanford, was charged Thursday with patient abuse or neglect.An investgation began March 11 when the patient’s injury was discovered, the release said.
