Proposed ordinance aimed at panhandling in the city
The Fayetteville City Council will vote on an ordinance inspired by the desire to decrease panhandling that would ban vehicle occupants from giving or receiving items from pedestrians on the side of roads not clearly marked by lanes tonight.In early March, the City Council voted 7-2 to have the city staff continue to draft the ordinance at a work session.
