Man faces 19 child sex offense charges
A man has been accused of 19 felony sex offenses involving a child.Douglas Gerald Adams, 54, of the 100 block of West Front Street in Texarkana, Texas, was charged Saturday with 12 counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and seven counts of sex offenses with a child, an arrest warrant said. His bail was set at $160,000.The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incidents. The victim was 6 years old in 1999 when the crimes occurred, the warrant said.
