Lumberton police investigating possible homicide; one in custody
LUMBERTON — Police are investigating a possible homicide after a man was found unresponsive Wednesday night in a front yard on Peachtree Street.Officers were dispatched at about 10:55 p.m. to a house on the 1100 block of Peachtree Street, where they found a male unresponsive lying in the front yard, a Lumberton Police Department news release said.The man was taken to Southeastern Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
