A homeless man is accused of assaulting a medical assistant at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Thursday, according to an arrest warrant in the Cumberland County Magistrate’s Office.David Brian Everett, 36, is charged with assault on emergency personnel.The woman, identified as Joyce Bridges, was caring for a patient when Everett pushed out the door of the room, grabbed her by her hair and neck, the warrant said, before pushing her to the ground.
