Highway Patrol identified mother, son in fatal crash
PINK HILL, N.C. (AP) — The North Carolina Highway Patrol has identified the two people killed when their car collided with a dump truck. Troopers told local media that 29-year-old Marie Holt and her 7-year-old son, Caleb, died in Monday’s crash when the dump truck crossed the center line on U.S. Highway 258 and hit Holt’s 2002 Honda Accord head-on.Patrol Sgt.
