Division of Water Quality notified of wastewater overflow
RAEFORD — About 4,500 gallons of wastewater overflowed into a stream in Raeford on Tuesday, a town official said.The Division of Water Quality was notified, said Trudy McVicker, the city’s operations manager/environmental compliance officer.The overflow occurred around 12:50 p.m. behind the Raeford cemetery, adjacent to Edinborough Avenue.
