Rep. Elmer Floyd of Fayetteville announces re-election campaign

Democratic state Rep. Elmer Floyd of Fayetteville formally announced his re-election campaign on Sunday.Floyd, of House District 43, is seeking his sixth term. He held a fund-raiser in December.The 43rd District was recently redesigned following a lawsuit that said it unconstitutionally diluted the political influence of black voters in North Carolina.
