Fayetteville tax preparer charged with overcharging customers
A Fayetteville tax preparer is accused of overcharging clients and pocketing the extra money, according to arrest warrants in the Cumberland County Magistrate’s Office.Katiuska Natali Koockogey, 46, of the 300 block of Woods Lane in Raeford, was charged today with five counts of obtaining property by false pretense.Four of the alleged offenses were reported in 2016 and one happened in 2015, warrants said.Koockogey worked for Gerald Smith Accounting at 846 Elm St., a […]
