Benson man dies in single-vehicle crash near Coats
LILLINGTON – A Benson man was killed Saturday in a single-vehicle wreck on Johnston County Road, about 3½ miles north of Coats, in Harnett County, the Highway Patrol said.Jose Manuel Armendarez, 44, driving a 2000 Nissan Maxima, was traveling east on Johnston County Road about 11:30 a.m. when the car ran off the right side of the road, according to a report filed by Trooper C.S.
