Abortion providers ask Supreme Court to decide if Texas law violates Constitution
Earlier this month, the Supreme Court on a 5 to 4 vote said the law, which bans most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, could take effect while legal challenges continued in lower courts. The groups that filed Thursday’s request said it was proving unworkable to challenge the law through traditional means.
