1. Librari-Con: The 13th annual Librari-Con will take place Aug. 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Headquarters Library, 300 Maiden Lane. The free event includes a gaming lounge, cosplay (costume) runway and panels and forums on topics such as podcasting and tips and techniques for creating costumes.
