Investigation clears Hope Mills mayor and her son of wrongdoing
HOPE MILLS — An investigation has cleared the mayor and her son of any wrongdoing related to the potential sale of town property to a nonprofit group.James Cauley III, of the Cauley Pridgen P.A. law firm of Raleigh, was hired by the town Board of Commissioners to look into the town’s handling of a request by the Texas-based Lone Survivor Foundation to locate a facility in town.
