NC ROTC teen killed in weekend wreck
Shelby — Monday was the first day Jody Fox missed school since kindergarten. The teenager was killed in a single car wreck on Sunday morning. Fox, 18, of Flint Hill Church Road, was driving on Chatfield Road when he went off the side of the street and hit a tree around 8:40 a.m. He died at the scene, according to N.C. Highway Patrol.
